TRADITIONAL MEDIA GOING FLAT
I, for myself, am one of those who believe and feel that traditional media is going flat because of the emergence of social media like the internet. Reason being that almost anybody has access to the internet and we no longer see the use of buying newspapers and magazines because of the social media especially the internet. We can now read the news online by simply typing the newspaper or magazines website and we have access to all the information we need. Even though some people especially older people rely on TV for news, we the younger generation rely on social media for news. Even the websites for traditional media outlets are not the most freindly sites and that comes down to the fear of social media. The internet is pushing traditional media (print media) to a coner and it will shut down pretty soon.
Bye to newspapers and hi to social media

yep i think its only a matter of time that traditional media vanish into thin air..i mean new media offer advanced features that can be downloaded anytime as long as there is enough coverage.
ReplyDeletetrue that, traditional media's time is very limited. I think soon enough there will not be traditional media anymore
ReplyDeletewho still buys a newspaper when you can read news online
ReplyDeleteMost people prefer to do things online and traditional media cannot offer that so i think social media is here to stay.
DeleteWe want media that is interactive and enhances our knowledge and I am afraid old traditional media can not offer that, it just belongs to the archives Dlamini
ReplyDeleteSocial media can offer exactly that, old traditional media's time is out.
Deletethanks to maChina and technology if it wasnt for them we would still be using traditional media
DeleteLol I dont know about maChina but thanks to technology.
DeleteTrue, traditional media is really going flat because people spend much of their time in their cellphones on various social netsworks than watching Tv or reading a megazine or either a newspaper.
ReplyDeleteMost people dont even buy newspapers and magazines anymore, everything is done online this days. Its a matter of time before traditional media goes down.
Deletebut tradotional media is easly affordable
DeleteTrue that, the invention of social media made our lives easier because now we can do almost anything online and i agree with you..it makes us lazy somehow.
ReplyDeleteI will positively have to go in hand with what you've just said, traditional media is indeed going flat because of the emergence of social media channels like the internet... technology is getting advanced each and every day, and it tends to dominate modern generation people.
ReplyDeleteYou said it all Mr Senatla, thank you.
DeleteI agree with you traditional media i9s declining because nowadays technology is more advanced than the past.people have different way of obtaining information such as internet and t6elevision.They rely on their phones to get information and because they can access even siting at home.
ReplyDeleteThis days people can do anything with their cellphones because they can access the internet anywhere.
DeleteI AGRRE WITH YOU TRADITIONAL MEDIA IS DECLINING BECAUSE NOWADAYS TECHNOLOGY IS MORE ADVANCED THAN THE PAST.PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT WAYS TO OBTAI INFORMATION AND THEY ARE NO LONGER RELYING ON NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINE.THEY ACCESSS INFORMATION ON THEIR PHONES AND THEY CAN ALSO ACCESSAT HOME THROUGH THEIR CELLPHONES
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your views Mr Mohlala, I agree with what you are saying..its just a matter of time before traditional media goes flat.
DeleteYes indeed the time of traditional media are slowly passing on which is quite unadaptable to most people but not to me as public relations or prp because i know that theres no much guarantee about these things with internet and social media hey..!
ReplyDeleteYes there is not much guarantee but traditional media is slowly but surely declining.
Deletei still think that in rural areas traditiotal media is still number one because they dont have much access to the internet
DeleteWow great angle Mapula, you said it all..traditional media is still used in rural areas
Deleteeverything has it's begining and also it's ending, it has been good to know and use tradional media but now it's time to go to rest, and i say hello to the new media, which is full of capabilities.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Mr Nemirini, you said it all.
Deletei still miss reading traditional media like nespapers because the social media is so expensive
DeleteNewspapers are very cheap but you have to go with the flow ms Matswalela..Social media is widely used this days.
Deletewell I honestly fell that traditional media is here to stay, think about it, if it does "vanish" what will happen to people who live on selling newspapers and magazines? No doubt that the new media is taking over but let’s not shut out traditional media.
ReplyDeleteI think you are correct since other people still believe that traditional media is down but not out yet, thank you for your views.
Deletetrue that mr cebekhulu i think new media will increase the rate of unemplyed people like you said what about those who survive by selling newspapers.
DeleteI think if traditional media declines, people who are selling newspapers will be unemployed. But we have to be honest here, its just a matter of time before traditional media goes down.
ReplyDeletewe should all be grateful for china people they really helped a lot when it comes to technology
ReplyDeletei agree traditional media is quickly fading away but I must say though PRPs should not leave it out completly because a lot of people still do not have access to the internet
ReplyDeleteTrue that especially those living in the rural areas, thanks for your view ms Mhlauli.
