TRADITIONAL MEDIA GOING FLAT

I, for myself, am one of those who believe and feel that traditional media is going flat because of the emergence of social media like the internet. Reason being that almost anybody has access  to the internet and we no longer see the use of buying newspapers and magazines because of the social media especially the internet. We can now read the news online by simply typing the newspaper or magazines website and we have access to all the information we need. Even though some people especially older people rely on TV for news, we the younger generation rely on social media for news. Even the websites for traditional media outlets are not the most freindly sites and that comes down to the fear of social media. The internet is pushing traditional media (print media) to a coner and it will shut down pretty soon.

Bye to newspapers and hi to social media

Even though some people believe that traditional media is down but not out, i think its just a matter of time. Social media is here to stay no doubt about that, with everything shifting to digital..the time of traditional media is vey limited. The 21st century shift from tangible newspapers to online versions such as online newspapers and magazines shows that soon enough we will be experiencing the decline of traditional media (www.perthnow.com). Even the journalists are able to communicate with the audience online and the breaking news is that traditional media is slowly but surely declining as everyone has access to the internet.

Social media vs traditional media

 Whose the winner?

souce:www.google.com

Thats the question on people's minds and the answer differs from one person to the next. In my opinion social media has made our lives easier because almost every person can now access the internet. It is transforming the way people communicate and the information is exchanged within seconds at a cheaper price. Its no suprice that the revolution driven by the young generation has taken over the world. Between laptops, smartphones and tablets, most are well connected to the social media. Gone are the days when our only source of infomation was TV, newspapers and magazines which were at first controlled by the government, informing the broadcasting team what the public should and should not know.

Benefits of social media

The arrival of the internet has changed how information is consumed and traditional media have partly moved online where information is easier to find, manage and share. Information consumpion have turned more digital and news spread quickly from one person to another. I believe that change is the rule of nature and that social media is the advanced and improved form of traditional media.
